LPCF Cheer Session
The Community Foundation’s first cheer session of the year, an 8 week program with 2 performances, runs from March 1st through May 2nd. Classes will be held on Sunday afternoons at the La Puente Community Center and performances are scheduled for the Easter Egg Hunt on March 28 and the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on May 2.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheer in a fun and supportive environment. This program is proudly sponsored by the La Puente Community Foundation and is designed to build confidence and teamwork. Additional information will be shared on the first day of class.
CoarseFilm Film Workshop
The La Puente Community Foundation, in partnership with CoarseFilm, is offering a film workshop for all skill levels to learn the art of filmmaking with professionals. Equipment and lunch will be provided.

Cinco De Mayo Celebration
The La Puente Community Foundation and Community Services is excited to once again host our annual, family-friendly Cinco De Mayo celebration with music, vendors, food, and community performances.

Mother's Day Paint and Sip
The La Puente Community Foundation will be hosting our annual Paint-and-Sip event at the Community Center on Friday, May 8th, at 7 p.m.
LPCF 2nd Cheer Session
Classes will be held on Sunday afternoons at the La Puente Community Center, with participants performing at the Third of July event.

Car Show at the Carnival

Annual Carnival & Car Show
Join the La Puente Community Foundation for our Annual Carnival & Car Show at the corner of Glendora Avenue and Mayor Dave Way.
There will be a special performance by Smooth Touch from 7-9 PM on April 10th, and Yankee Azteca will be performing from 6-8 PM on April 12th.
The Car Show will be held Saturday, April 11th, from 11 AM-5 PM, featuring classic cars and custom builds on Sotro Ave. There will be special performances by Sly Slick and Wicked, Mariah Avila, and Los Acelerados throughout the day.

MEHKO Home Food Business Training
Interested in starting your own food business from home? Join our MEHKO training, offered in both English and Spanish, to learn how to legally prepare and sell food from your home kitchen.
This class will cover permit requirements, public health guidelines, and the essential steps to launching a Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation.
Offered in partnership with the San Gabriel Valley Chamber of Commerce, Public Health, and the Department of Economic Opportunity.
Fourth Annual Lunar New Year Celebration
We are thrilled to welcome the Lunar New Year with a joyful celebration honoring culture, community, and new beginnings. This year, we are especially excited to feature performances by the Thai Rum Wong Dance, bringing vibrant traditions and energy to our festivities.

Free Winter Break Soccer Clinic
Back by popular demand! Our Thanksgiving Week Clinic was a
success, helping keep local youth active and engaged during the
holiday break. The free Winter Break Soccer Clinic, in partnership
with 626 FUTBL, will follow the same format and is open to ages 5–8.
Each child receives a jersey, fully sponsored by the La Puente
Community Foundation.

The LPCF Free Cheer Clinics are a great opportunity for the local youth to engage in the arts, activity, and local community. Ages 5 - 17 are welcome to participate.

The Foundation has received 10 donated turkeys from the 56th District office of Assemblymember Calderon and is matching that donation to raffle off a total of 20 turkeys to the La Puente Community Center Veterans’ Dinner attendees.

Brunch by the Bridge
The La Puente Community Foundation is partnering with the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center, VVS Inc., the City of Industry, and the City of La Puente to host the 2025 Brunch by the Bridge.

Rum Wong Dance
The La Puente Community Foundation is partnering with The Pride of Thailand Organization, Thai & Thai American Volunteers, and La Puente City to host the Rum Wong Dance.
Join us at the La Puente Community Center to enjoy traditional Thai exercise accompanied by live Thai musicians.
Free food will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis to the first 50 participants.
