Embracing Identities
Join the La Puente Community Foundation for an empowering journey of self-discovery and community connection!
The Foundation is partnering with Penny Lane Centers to host the Embracing Identities Program at the La Puente Community Center.

New Years Eve Gala
OFFICIAL DATE AND TIME TO BE DECIDED.
In the month of December, the City of La Puente will be hosting a New Years Eve Gala. The Foundation will be participating with raffles, live auctions, and a thank-you ceremony to the biggest sponsors of the year.
Día De Los Muertos After Dark
On November 4th, the Community Foundation will be hosting a Día De Los Muertos Event. Both kids and adults will enjoy the amenities at this after-dark celebration; there will be a kids’ glow-in-the-dark dance party with a live DJ, a haunted house, a variety of food vendors, and a Paint and Sip for the adults to indulge in.
Trunk or Treat
On October 27th, the City of La Puente will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event in celebration of Halloween. The Foundation will be hosting an arts and crafts section, face paintings, and distributing candy during the event. Keep an eye out for updates and visit the Foundation at this annual celebration!
LP Perk Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The long awaited LP Perk Cafe was officially opened on Saturday September 30th with a simple but impressive ribbon cutting and the community showed its appreciation all day even with the drizzling that came along with it.
Golf Tournament
The Foundation is hosting its first-ever golf tournament, with the goal of raising funds to support its future sporting events for the youth in the community.

National Night Out
The Foundation will be partaking in the annual Nation Night Out, an event hosted in support of local law enforcement, along with the City of La Puente.
The Foundation will host a booth at the event showcasing our upcoming goals and activities.

Family Friendly Paint & Sip
The Foundation will be hosting a Family Friendly Paint & Sip event at the July 3rd Beer Garden, during the City’s annual July 3rd Celebration. Join us from 6:00-8:00 p.m. to enjoy drinks and art. Children welcome.
Tickets can be purchased Monday—Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the La Puente Community Center. Cash and credit cards are accepted. All payments are made by appointment. Find pricing details on the flyer below.

Independence Day Celebration Beer and Wine Garden
The Foundation will be hosting once again its annual Beer Garden, this time with even more activities! As a family-friendly event, there will be entertainment for children including crafts, games, and activities for the whole family. Adults can enjoy a wide selection of beer and wine as well as a wine Paint-and-Sip.

TNT Firework Stand
The Community Foundation, in partnership with Firecracker Solis, is hosting a firework stand from June 28th to July 4th. Stop by and pick up some festive fireworks to celebrate this Independence Day!

Pride Resource Fair Brunch by the Bridge
The City of La Puente and the City of Industry are collaborating with the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ+ Center and the La Puente Community Foundation to host a Pride Resource Fair Brunch.
The Foundation will be hosting an arts and crafts section at the event, including bracelet-making and papercrafts. Additionally, the Foundation will be catering the event with food from LP Grub Snack Bar.
