Summer Splish Splash Water Day
The La Puente Community Foundation invites the community to our annual Summer Splish Splash Water Day Event on July 31. This free family-friendly event will create a fun water park-style experience filled with water activities, summer fun, and exciting community engagement for all ages.
Golf Tournament
The La Puente Community Foundation invites you to its Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Via Verde Country Club in San Dimas. This community-focused event brings together local residents, businesses, and supporters for a day of golf, connection, and giving back.
The tournament will feature a morning shotgun start following check-in, with participants enjoying a full day on the course. Registration includes dinner, and attendees can look forward to awards, raffles, music, and networking opportunities throughout the event.
Players can register as individuals or foursomes, while sponsors have multiple opportunities to gain visibility and support the Foundation’s ongoing work in the community. From on-course promotions to digital recognition, sponsorship packages are designed to highlight community partners in meaningful ways.
Whether you’re an experienced golfer or simply looking to support a great cause, the Annual Golf Tournament offers a fun and engaging way to make an impact.

Enjoy the City of La Puente’s July 3rd Fireworks Celebration in comfort with Preferred Seating hosted by the La Puente Community Foundation. This VIP-style amenity includes an exclusive 15x15 reserved space, convenient access to beer sales, nearby bouncers, and music for an elevated event experience.

As part of the City of La Puente’s July 3rd Fireworks Celebration, youth participants from the La Puente Community Foundation Cheer Program will perform and showcase their spirit, teamwork, and dedication during the evening festivities.

Brunch By the Bridge Resource Fair
The La Puente Community Foundation, in partnership with the City of La Puente, City of Industry, Valley Vista, and the San Gabriel Valley LGBTQ Center, is excited to hold a family-friendly Brunch By the Bridge resource fair with music, resource partners, vendors, free brunch for the first 40 participants, and community workshops.
Join us at the La Puente Community Center Courtyard from 11 am - 2 pm.
LPCF 2nd Cheer Session
Classes will be held on Sunday afternoons, 2 p.m., at the La Puente Community Center Gymnasium, with participants performing at the Third of July event.
The program is proudly sponsored by the La Puente Community Foundation, and classes are free.
Youth Wellness Fair
LPCF is partnering with Girl Scout Silver Award Project Troop 6564. Join us as Troop 6564 host booths on coping mechanism to help reduce stress, health activity stations, nutrition stations and more. Open to youth ages 5-17. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Join us at the La Puente Community Center from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Mother's Day Paint and Sip
The La Puente Community Foundation will be hosting our annual Paint-and-Sip event at the Community Center on Friday, May 8th, at the La Puente Community Center Courtyard from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Cinco De Mayo Celebration
The La Puente Community Foundation and Community Services is excited to once again host our annual, family-friendly Cinco De Mayo celebration with music, vendors, food, and community performances.

CoarseFilm Film Workshop
The La Puente Community Foundation, in partnership with CoarseFilm, is offering a film workshop for all skill levels to learn the art of filmmaking with professionals. Equipment and lunch will be provided.

Annual Carnival & Car Show
Join the La Puente Community Foundation for our Annual Carnival & Car Show at the corner of Glendora Avenue and Mayor Dave Way.
There will be a special performance by Smooth Touch from 7-9 PM on April 10th, and Yankee Azteca will be performing from 6-8 PM on April 12th.
The Car Show will be held Saturday, April 11th, from 11 AM-5 PM, featuring classic cars and custom builds on Sotro Ave. There will be special performances by Sly Slick and Wicked, Mariah Avila, and Los Acelerados throughout the day.

MEHKO Home Food Business Training
Interested in starting your own food business from home? Join our MEHKO training, offered in both English and Spanish, to learn how to legally prepare and sell food from your home kitchen.
This class will cover permit requirements, public health guidelines, and the essential steps to launching a Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation.
Offered in partnership with the San Gabriel Valley Chamber of Commerce, Public Health, and the Department of Economic Opportunity.
LPCF Cheer Session
The Community Foundation’s first cheer session of the year, an 8 week program with 2 performances, runs from March 1st through May 2nd. Classes will be held on Sunday afternoons at the La Puente Community Center and performances are scheduled for the Easter Egg Hunt on March 28 and the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on May 2.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheer in a fun and supportive environment. This program is proudly sponsored by the La Puente Community Foundation and is designed to build confidence and teamwork. Additional information will be shared on the first day of class.
Fourth Annual Lunar New Year Celebration
We are thrilled to welcome the Lunar New Year with a joyful celebration honoring culture, community, and new beginnings. This year, we are especially excited to feature performances by the Thai Rum Wong Dance, bringing vibrant traditions and energy to our festivities.

Free Winter Break Soccer Clinic
Back by popular demand! Our Thanksgiving Week Clinic was a
success, helping keep local youth active and engaged during the
holiday break. The free Winter Break Soccer Clinic, in partnership
with 626 FUTBL, will follow the same format and is open to ages 5–8.
Each child receives a jersey, fully sponsored by the La Puente
Community Foundation.

Free Cheer Clinic & Performance Holiday Parade Edition

The LPCF Free Cheer Clinics are a great opportunity for the local youth to engage in the arts, activity, and local community. Ages 5 - 17 are welcome to participate.
